Spinal Decompression - Testimonials
This is what Zane Schwenk, a Professional Wakeboarder, had to say about Spinal Decompression

To say “I abuse my body”, is an understatement. Having grown up in a circus, then becoming a professional wake boarder/water skier and throwing in a few stunts here and there, all I've done for the last 20 years is abuse my body.
In 2009 my body started to tell me I couldn't do it anymore. I literally could not get out of bed and if I could, there was no way I was able to even put on shoes; it was flip-flops or nothing else. The pain was unbearable and would bring me to tears.
I ventured in to see Angie Horton because I knew her name throughout the community and I knew that she understood the sport that had led me to this pain. Angie thoroughly explained what had been done to my body, what the possible outcomes could be, and how her Spinal Decompression treatment would help.
Over the course of my career I have broken more bones than I can count, chipped my vertebrae, blown out my shoulder and bicep, and have had seven different knee surgeries, so therapy was not new to me. You could say I was skeptical at the beginning of our conversation but by the end, I agreed to give this therapy a shot. After countless months of restless sleep, waking up in pain and literally not being able to do the normal activities a mid 30-year-old should be able to do, I was willing to try anything. I can still recall vividly going to sleep the night after my first treatment. With my feet propped up on the pillow I was hoping that I would feel a difference, and to my surprise this was the first night I was able to sleep completely through the night without pain. The next morning I woke up and was able to bend down and touch my feet. It truly was amazing how the pressure and pain had been alleviated from my lower back.
Feeling like a new man, I decided to commit myself to Angie’s Spinal Decompression program. Over the course of the treatment I experienced some soreness, but the body is always changing and that's a good thing.
For a long period time I neglected to follow through with my maintenance treatments and I could feel the difference. Nowadays I have a reminder programmed in my phone for my maintenance treatments. Truthfully my body will let me know when I'm ready for another treatment.
When I went in to see Angie I thought there was no way I'd be able to continue my wakeboard career. She helped me get through the twilight years and into my 20th year in professional wakeboard. I was able to retire from that professional tour proud of what I've done and better yet happy, healthy, and more mobile than I was in 2009.
I continue to see Angie, as do multiple family members and friends, this truly is the most amazing Spinal Decompression treatment I've ever experienced. Sometimes I get massages/ultrasound and Kinesio taped, all of which coupled together keeps me pain-free and allows me to still get on the water and do what I love!
